Ms. Omadell Haggerton, age 89, of Colorado City, died Friday, September 16, 2011, in a local hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 PM Monday, September 19, 2011, in the Colorado City Cemetery.
Arrangement are under the direction of Kiker=Seale Funeral Home.
Omadell was born September 29, 1921 In Colorado City to Bert and Addie Armstrong Haggerton and had been a lifelong resident. She worked on their family farm in the Lowe Community until moving to town and waitressed at Truck Town until retiring. She was member of the Church of Christ.
She never had any children of her own but was a mother figure to all of her niece and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Robert and Mary Haggerton of Colorado City and Darla Moon of Oakdale, California.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Gerry Haggerton.
