Mrs. Dorothy Harber, age 86, died Monday morning in a local care center. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in the Colorado City Cemetery with Rev. Paul Smith officiating.  Arrangements were under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Harber was born July 1, 1923, in Mitchell County to Charles Melton and Molly Bowden Mote and had been a lifelong resident. She married Marvin Thomas Harber in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1985. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Tom and wife, Jane Harber of Gardendale; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a niece, Bobbie Wilkinson of Levelland.
