Rickie Charles Hogue

Rickie Charles Hogue, 55, of Sweetwater, formerly of Big Spring, died Nov. 19, 2007, in Sweetwater. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at McCoy Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Decker and the Rev. Jimmy Don Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. at Westbrook Cemetery.

Rickie was born June 9, 1952, in Big Spring to Wayne L. Hogue and Dorothy Hogue Snapka. He worked in the oil field as a driller and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by two sons, Richard Hogue and wife, Melissa, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jonathan Hogue and wife, Amber, of Sweetwater; a daughter, Brandie Knabe and husband, Rodney, of Muenster; his mother, Dorothy Hogue Snapka of Sweetwater; two brothers, Billy Hogue of Kennewick, Wash., and James Hogue of Snyder; four sisters, Loretta Morris and husband, Glenn, of Lorraine, Vickie Cox and husband, Robin, of Sweetwater, Judy Hogue and Verna Campbell, both of Kennewick, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceeded in death by his father; a grandson, Jonathan Hogue; and a brother, Eddie Hogue.

Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.
