David W. Hutchins, Jr.

COLORADO CITY — David W. Hutchins, Jr., passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2006. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Abilene, Texas. David requested cremation.

He is survived by: his wife, Liselotte (Lee) Hutchins; one son, Raymond Hutchins of Boulder, Colorado; two daughters, Carolyn Jergenson of Cheney, Kansas and Sharon Hillhouse of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.

David Hutchins entered the U. S. Army in July 1943 and completed 20 years of service. He then joined Chevron Oil Company and operated a service station in Abilene, Texas for 5 years. He moved with his family to Colorado City in December of 1967, where he owned and operated the Ford Dealership for 30 years. He retired in 1997.

Memorials may be made to a Charity of your choice, or to the Hospice House in Odessa.
