LORAINE RITES CONDUCTED FOR E. F. LEE, 75

Funeral service for Edward Franklin Lee, a retired farmer in the Loraine Community, were conducted Monday afternoon in the First Baptist Church in Loraine.
Lee, who had been ill for some time, died in Johnson Hospital Sunday afternoon May 1, 1955 at the age of 75 years.
A member of the First Baptist Church, he had lived in the Loraine Community for 58 years. He was born December 2, 1879, in Dallas County.
Reverend Leonard Hartley church pastor, officiated in the final rites. Burial was in the Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home. Pallbearers were nephews of Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. "Tobe" Lee, and two brothers, Jim Lee and George Lee; one grandson, Curtis Lee and one granddaughter, Willa Lee.
Lee is survived by one son, Homan Lee of Odessa; four daughters, Mrs. V. H. (Jewel) Wimberley of Loraine, Mrs. George (Ola) Reddin of Snyder, Mrs. M. C. (Hazel) Kelly and Mrs. J. A. (Ettal) Black of Odessa: two brothers, Jess Lee and Charley Lee of Loraine; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
