Billie Marie Seward Long

Colorado City – Mrs. Billie Marie Long, age 84, a lifelong resident of Mitchell County, died Saturday night in an Odessa Hospital. Graveside services will be at 10 AM Tuesday in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Long was born April 9, 1927 in Colorado City to W.E. and Anna Lee Mohler Seward. She married Jack Long in 1946 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2000. She was a home maker and helped Jack in the farming business. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Regina and husband, David Jones of Gardendale; a son, Jack and wife Janet Long of San Angelo; a sister Joann Zeck of Colorado City; grandchildren: Carson and wife, Tiffany Jones, Chelsey and husband, Wayne Gellette; Jay Long and Josh and wife, Leslie Long and 3 great grandchildren: Dylay Gellette and Penelope Gellette and Maggie Long.
