Roberto Contreras Ornelas

Robert C. Ornelas Jr. of Lewisville, passed away on January 12. 2012 at the age of 32 . Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, January 16th 2012 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Colorado City with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell County Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. Rosary will be Sunday January 15, 2012 in Kiker-Seale Chapel 7 till 8 PM.
Robert was born June 20, 1979 in Colorado City Texas to Bobby and Janie Ornelas.
He attended and graduated from Colorado High School in 1997. He then continued his education in order to obtain his certification in respiratory therapy.
Robert was very passionate about his job, he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He particularly enjoyed working in the neonatal intensive care unit with premature infants, where he earned many awards for his services.
Robert is survived by his parents, Bobby and Janie Ornelas of Colorado City; four sisters, Lisa Rees, Jo Ann Courtney, Jennifer Ornelas, and Kristin Orr, along with their spouses, and a very special friend Jay Faulkner. He is also survived by seven nephews, Joshua Sutton, Aaron Rees, Tony Rees, Josh Rees Matthew Courtney, Luke Courtney,and Ty Evans; five nieces, Carissa Sutton, Courtney Sutton, Cassi Sutton, Megan Courtney, and Haily Evans.
Pall bearers will be Eric Mendoza, Jamie Alvarez, Stephen Ornelas, Phillip Ornelas, Leo Castro, and Mario Gonzales.
