Mrs. Ruby Lee Pierce, age 85, died on Thursday, October 15, 2009 in Arlington, Texas. Graveside service was held on Sunday, October 18, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at Colorado City Cemetery with Rev. Nicky Johnson officiating.  Services were under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Ruby Lee was born on February 14, 1924, in Athens, Texas to Sidney Lee and Bettie Ann Blanton. She resided in Colorado City for 20 years and Odessa for 38 years prior to moving to Arlington. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Odessa.

She is survived by her daughters, Ann Barnes of Duncanville and Kathy Schoolcraft and husband, Louis of Colorado City; son, Kenneth Pierce of Snyder; five grandchildren, Wendy Wilson, Michelle Asunto, Tiffany Culver, LeAnn Zajicek and Regina Jones; ten great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Frank Pierce and wife, Eulene of Hobbs, NM and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Jurasick of Pennsylvania.

Ruby Lee is preceded in death by her husband, Forest T. Pierce and grandson, Eric Schoolcraft.
