Francis “Bill” Louise Proctor, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 25, 2009 in Colorado City. Funeral service was held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Colorado City Cemetery.

Francis was born on July 28, 1919 in Colorado City to Albert and Madge Doss. She was a longtime resident of Colorado City.  She married George Brian Proctor on October 2, 1937, who preceded her in death.   Francis was a member and treasurer of the Golden Age Club and a member of New Life Ministries Church.  She also worked at the sewing factory for 34 years.

She leaves  behind her sons, Porky Proctor and wife, Mary Paul of Colorado City, Roger Proctor and wife, Gayla of Colorado City; daughters, Brenda Grimes and husband, Troy of Colorado City and Linda Ward and husband, George of Colorado City; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Francis is preceded in death by her husband, George Proctor; son, Gary Don Proctor; parents, Albert and Madge Doss; and two grandchildren, Tammy Proctor and Amy Thomas.
