Bruce Rich
1956-2010

COLORADO CITY – Mr. Bruce Rich, age 53, of Westbrook, died Sunday morning, April 18, 2010, in a local hospital. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church in Colorado City with Rev. Terry White and Dr. Jerry Shields officiating. Burial followed in the Westbrook Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Rich was born July 10, 1956, in Colorado City to Cleburne and Metha Rich and had been a lifelong resident of Mitchell County. He married Katherine Parsons on July 18, 1975 in Westbrook. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Westbrook, a longtime member of the Westbrook ISD Board of Trustees and the Mitchell County Appraisal Board.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Rich of Westbrook; his parents, Cleburne and Metha Rich of Westbrook; two sons, Thadd Rich and Colton (Shorty) Rich, both of Westbrook; two daughters, Brynn Rich of Colorado City and Amanda and husband, Justin Ratliff of North Richland Hills; a brother, Daryl and wife, Donna Rich of Big Spring; four nieces, one nephew and two great-nephews.
