COLORADO CITY (RNS) ~~ Tyne L Sparks, Sr, 64, of Colorado City died Thursday morning in the Veterans Adminstration Hospital in Big Spring after a two week ilness.

Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Kiker-Rains-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery.

Mr. Sparks was born July 27, 1907 in Stamford. He had lived in and around Colorado City for many years. He was a World War II Veteran and a Baptist.

Survivors are three sons, Tyne, Jr. of Odessa, Sam and Truman both of Aurora, Colorado; three sisters, Mrs. Lorene Nugent of Amarillo, Mrs. Annie Patrick of Ozona, and Mrs. Nora Sankey of Del Rio; one brother, Grady of Loraine; and ten grandchildren.
