Sinton House
This was Dan and Daisy’s Sinton house, probably about 1913 or 1914 soon after their move to Texas. It is nearing completion, with supports for roofers visible, no window in upper room, and nothing painted. The people are probably Daisy (left), Marjorie (girl on porch), Walter Martin (upper window), Fred (boy in upper window), and Mary Martin (Walt’s wife) on porch on right. The high school (built about 1913-15) can be seen under construction in the background through the porch.
