Cenizo Hill Cemetery "Q"

Formerly the McNabb Cemetery
Mathis, San Patricio County, Texas
Transcribed 12/27/06 thru 06/09/09 by

Although well maintained, there are several unmarked graves. A Google search for Cenizo Hill Cemetery yielded a large number of links to obituaries for many of the people interred here. Illegible headstones, funeral home markers, or unknown marked gravesites are not included in this transcription. A portion of this cemetery appears to be the final resting place for African-Americans. The majority of oldest, illegible, and unmarked graves are located in this area. People found in that area are designated with an asterik (*). Please let me know of any corrections. Photos of headstones can be found at Find-A-Grave
