How To Get There: From Beltway Drive South (FM 707) in Abilene, Texas, take US Highway 84 South 15.1 miles to Lawn, Texas, and to the intersection with Farm to Market Road 604. Turn right (west) onto FM 604 and go 1.8 miles to Farm to Market Road 382. Turn left (south) onto FM 382 and go 1.5 miles. Dewey Cemetery is on the right (west) side of the road. GPS Coords: 32.112808, -99.770695 Located in south Taylor County this cemetery is one of the true rural cemeteries. It's about 3 miles from the nearest town (Lawn) and from the cemetery there are no visable structures. There are several unknown graves, some are marked with field stone but most of the old headstones are still legible. This cemetery listing has been updated through the year 2001.
