Gouldsboro Cemetery
Home

Gouldsboro Cemetery is one of several in Titus County that must, at this time, be considered lost. It was located about 1.5 miles east of Talco and on the South side of FM 71 that runs from Talco to Wilkinson. There was once a Gouldsboro School and Church building near the cemetery. No trace of either remains. What monuments were there were moved to the Talco cemetery and can be found on that survey. The grave of an infant of the Smith family was not moved to Talco. Gouldsboro Cemetery was located in the M. V. Delgado Survey A-158 in plots 200/202. Since no monuments existed in the cemetery, no effort was expended to locate it exactly.
