Ms Kennedy was the 4th wife of George Lunsford and his last wife. His first wife was Mary Greer. My great-great grandmother was his second wife, Mary Caroline, and is buried somewhere in Tyler ( probably Oakwood Cemetery) we believe. Nancy Jane McBride was his third wife and we believe she was buried at the cemetery at Tawonkoni on the land that George Lunsford owned and passed down to our descendants until the State bought it. I am told that the cemetery had all the graves removed for the Lake and reinterred at Bright Star Cemetery in a mass grave. I do not know this to be true and am only told this by word of mouth. He had 3 children by each of the first 3 wives and none by Francis C. Kennedy, however she had two sons by a previous marriage so we understand.
