The Norman Family tombstone is huge, maybe eight feet tall. It is a beautiful green marble stone which towers over all other stones in the Pole Town Cemetery. Inside the falling down fence of the plot, there are smaller markers for all the family members. There are ten listed here. The Normans were a prominent Grand Saline family in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
