Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Scott was born February 22, 1860, in Scott Community, and died October 25, 1925 in Wichita Falls, Texas. On August 13, 1876, Betty married William Bomar "Bome" Moore, the son of Levi "Lee" Moore and Mariah Louisa Stanley.

Funeral Services For Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Moore Are Held Monday Afternoon
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Moore, 64, who died at 9:30 o'clock Sunday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. T. Stevens, 1621 Lucille Street, were held from the First Methodist Church at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, with Dr. Walter Johnson officiating. burial was in Rosemont. Mrs. Moore died following an illness of three weeks. She is survived by nine children, J. H. Moore of Lubbock, W. R. Moore of Kemp, Bomar Moore of Anson, Mrs. Hugh Nolen of Lawton, Okla., Mrs. J. W. Gailey of San Angelo, Mrs. W. P. Westmoreland of Gorman, Tex., Mrs. Will Caster of Blair, Okla., and Demps Moore of Austin. Pallbearers were: Wayne Somerville, C. P. Warman, P. F.
