Sarah Jane Wages was born in Mississippi on June 12, 1840,
the third child of William Thomas and Susana Wages. In Canton,
Texas, on April 12, 1866, she became the third wife of George
Washington Tull. George was the son of James Stephen Tull and
Mary Martha (Ruff?) Noble. Sarah Jane and George had 2 children
both of whom died in infancy: A stillborn female in 1867 and
George L. Tull born Jan 28, 1868 and died October 28, 1868. Sarah
Jane Wages Tull died in Canton, October 8, 1868, just a few weeks
before her son George died. The tombstone for Sarah has the information
for 9 month old George below Sarah and the infant below George.
